Sisodia Rani Ka
Bagh: Raja Sawai Jai Singh built Sisodia Rani Ka Bagh 8 km from Jaipur on the road to Agra, as a gift to his Sisodia Queen from Udaipur. The aesthetically laid out garden in the Mughal style is based on a theme that depicts the legendary lovers - Lord Krishna and his soul beloved
Radha. The garden served as a private summer redtreat for royal maidens and ladies of Jaipur.

Govind
Devji Temple: The Govind Deo Ji temple dedicated to Lord Krishna, the patron deity of the royal family is situated in the City Palace complex. Well preserved by the erstwhile royal family, the image of the chief deity Govind Deo Ji (Lord Krishna) is said to have been brought from Vrindavan and installed here by Raja Sawai Jai Singh, the founder of Jaipur.

Kanak
Vrindavan: is an exquisitely landscaped garden with a beautifully carved temple in beige stone; with terrace sites all around and intricately carved marble columns and lattices. Located in the foothills of Nahargarh hills on the way towards
Amer, this not too old temple is a popular spot for picnics. It may be visited on the way to the three forts of Jaipur-
Nahargarh, Jaigarh and Amber.

Moti Dungri: In the middle of Jaipur rises a small hill Moti Dungri meaning pearl hill, because the looks like a drop of pearl. This exotic palace is a replica of Scottish castle and was once occupied by Maharaja Madho Singh's son. It has remained the private property of the ruling family ever since. The highlight of this place is the famous and auspicious temple of Lord Ganesh, which is frequently visited by the citizens of Jaipur and people from outside.

Birla
Mandir: Another tourist attraction is the Lakshmi Narayan Temple more popularly referred to as Birla Mandir since it was built by the by the affluent business family of Birlas. Situated just below Moti Dungari, this modern temple, built in white marble is a highly revered place of worship for Hindus. The presiding deities here are Vishnu (One of the Hindu Trilogy Gods) called Narayan and his consort Lakshmi, Goddess of wealth and good fortune. The exterior of the temple has carved sculptures of various mythological themes and images of saints. The outside walls also show great historical personages and figures from all religions, including Socrates, Zarathustra, Christ, Budhda, and Confucius. The interior has a large panel of mythological proceedings.

Albert
Hall(Museum): Located just outside the walled city is the Albert Hall, designed by Sir Swinton Jacob, a British architect who had also designed many palaces in Rajasthan. It combines elements of English and North Indian architecture. The building houses a museum that displays a rich collection of paintings, carpets, sculptures and colourful crystal works and othe art-de-facts. |
