Rajasthan is arguably one of the most colourful
states of India. A visit to Delhi could be
combined with a trip to three cities, which best
represent the glorious royal traditions of the
state. The three cities with their distinctive
style form the pulse of Rajasthan.
Delhi, India’s capital gives you a feel of
ancient, medieval and colonial India through its
various monuments built at different points in
history, as well as a taste of modern India in
its metropolitan aspect.
Jaipur is the capital of Rajasthan, the desert
state with a royal past. The pink city as it is
popularly known, houses several forts and
palaces in royal style. One can enjoy its
colourful bazaars hosting some of the most
exquisite handicrafts and jewelry.
Udaipur with its five beautiful lakes, lush
green hills, exotic palaces forts, gardens and
temples, appears straight out of a fairy-tale
book. One of the most romantic cities of world,
it is often referred to as the Venice of East.
Finally Jodhpur, the Sun City, with its
incredibly rugged fort, sand-dunes, gaily
caprisoned camels and common folk in colorful
costumes, make for a truly romantic desert land.
The museum here is one of the finest in
Rajasthan, On display are a fabulous collection
of royal paraphernelia - palanquins, howdahs,
