THE DELHI GOLF CLUB:
This outstanding 6972 yards, PAR 72, 18 hole golf course was chosen to host the first ever golf tournament at the asian games in 1982. First opened in 1931, this course was renovated in 1977 by peter Thompson. Golfers play past historical monuments and it is a sanctuary for over 300 bird species.
DLF GOLF & COUNTRY CLUB:
This 142-acre course is located just 20 minutes away from Delhi's international airport. It is rated among the first hundred coursee in the world, outside USA & Canada and the best golf course in India.
RAMBAGH GOLF CLUB:
Rambagh golf club is a part of rambagh palace & the fairway passes through the rambagh polo grounds. The upper course has nine greens around the polo ground.
PRESIDENCY GOLF CLUB:
This eighteen-hole, par 70 course is spread over an expanse of 90-acres.The presidency is not seen as an easy course to break par and the fairways, which are narrow and tight, are undoubtedly the best in the country.
KARNATAKA GOLF CLUB, KGA:
The par-72, 6945 yards KGA has been re-designed by the legendary peter Thomson, the man behind the new course at St.Andrews.it is one of the few in India where you can watch the proceedings on the 1st and the 10th tee, as well as the 9th and 18th greens, from the magnificent clubhouse.
EAGLETON GOLF RESORT:
The Eagleton golf resort is located a few kilometers away from Bangalore, but once you are there, it is a self-suffient golfing oasis. From the championship tees, it measures 6,632 yards and is a par-72 course. Eagleton is one of the latest courses in south India-inaugurated in 1999.
